We are looking for:

Head of Small and Medium Accounts

Belgrade

Key responsibilities:

  • Accountable for short and long term sales and retention strategy development & implementation
  • Penetration of assigned Small and Medium accounts portfolio with all product lines offered by Telenor
  • Develop, execute & align account plans within national territory and reporting sales regions on a regular basis
  • Channel’s budget & operational responsibility
  • Foster and maintain key relationships at executive level with strategic people, groups and client accounts
  • Act in an executive manner representing Telenor at multiple functions, press related events and shows, in line with company directions, values and goals
  • Work collaboratively with the Segment and Pricing Manager and other internal departments to ensure the needs of the customers (and channel) are being met and aligned with strategic and tactical initiatives within Telenor including solution development, go-to-market strategy, training, collateral & sales tools, CRM/lead/funnel/Bid management, renewals and post-sales support
  • Evaluate operational and process flow and implement or actively propose improvements with process owners;
  • Be accountable for justified escalation of offers to higher levels of approval
  • Build a team that exceeds all client expectations by:
    • developing people, processes and systems to deliver in an operational efficient and productive manner
    • ensuring that client information collected is accurate and properly analysed
    • ensuring that team uses the latest sales methodology as well as all other trainings provided, in their daily customer conduct
  • Effectively manage the team performance in order to achieve team and individual objectives by:
    • Setting performance objectives and development plans for each of the direct reports
    • Conducting regular performance review meetings & offering feedback in writing
    • Providing coaching for each direct report to achieve higher performance
    • Planning professional development and monitor progress against objectives
    • Ensuring appropriate staffing actions
    • Ensuring that team members are fully compliant with internal regulations, processes & marketing guidelines;
    • Running detailed account review meetings regularly
  • Act as first escalation level and resolve as quickly as possible potential complex issues related to customers.

For the good start you will need:

  • Preferably University degree
  • Minimum of 5-years direct management of B2B sales teams
  • Successful track record in managing sales teams and delivering results within the good employee retention rate
  • Knowledge of the Telecommunications industry preferred
  • Excellent understanding of local market, trends and competition
  • Fluent knowledge of English (Written & Verbal) is required
  • Proficiency with MS Office is essential
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Results-oriented with a proven ability to build and execute strategic plans to meet and exceed both short and long term business objectives
  • Committed to the company and the achievement of its goals, despite obstacles, while putting customers first
  • Very good understanding of technology
