Head of Subledger Accounting Services

Then here is your next project with us - as our new Head of Subledger Accounting Services (m/f/d) you will establish a highly effective team as well as efficient processes at KWS Berlin GmbH. Moreover, our new Head of Subledger Accouting Services (m/f/d) will connect to the business and will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of the accounting services.

This is a permanent position and available in full-time.

The place of work is Berlin.

Your New Tasks & Projects:

• Inspiring, leading and guiding the employees of the Subledger team including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and empowering all leadership levels 
• Establishing efficient organizational structures, driving automation and continuously improving operational Subledger service delivery
• Driving of standardization and harmonization in a global Shared Service Center environment 
• Enhancing and supporting cross-functional collaboration with all business units involved as well as the efficient information flow between all relevant stakeholders 
• Driving end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay  process improvements as a key player
• Ensuring a proper service delivery according to given KPIs

Your Profile:

• A track record of relevant, extensive professional experience in management positions such as Subledger Accounting and/or Procurement experiences (P2P) 
• Holistic understanding of Purchase-to-Pay, Subledger and Procurement operations and its implications on other functions
• Work experience in an international environment; having worked  in a Shared Service Center is an asset 
• User knowledge of relevant IT systems such as MS Office, SAP infrastructure,  invoicing systems; a user knowledge of the invoicing system X-Flow is an asset
• Expertise in driving change and orchestrating continuous improvement
• A track record of leadership capabilities paired with decision-making abilities
• Strong people development skills as well as the ability to empower team members
• Excellent communication skills, actively addressing of conflicts and areas for improvement; taking ownership for the solution-finding process 
• Open-minded, ability to think outside the box and having the bigger, cross-functional picture in mind
• A very good command of English (written and spoken);  any other language is an advantage
