Brasidas Group is seeking a Human Resources Manager (HRM) to oversee all aspects of human resource practices and processes under the supervision of the head of the Belgrade office.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Employee training and development
- Support onboarding and training material implementation and usage
- Culture and performance management
- Track employee goals and promote Brasidas performance culture
- Recruiting and staffing employees
- Maintaining active accounts on career websites and identifying other relevant recruitment methods, including building up a network to relevant universities
- Maintaining a database of potential candidates, as sourced from above recruiting methods, identifying candidates’ specific talents, experience, backgrounds, educational & other bona fides
- Maintaining and updating a repository of acceptable test cases, interview test questions, and other relevant interview materials
- Preparing all materials for interviews and identifying key questions to ask of candidates
- Candidate vetting
- Employee benefits & compensation
- Liaison between employees and accountant/ brokers/etc.
- Employee and labor relations
- Staying abreast of relevant laws & regulations, as well as trends in hiring and salaries, and ensuring compliance with same (e.g. in Employee Handbook updates)
- Keeping track of Belgrade employees’ PTO, sick days, holidays
- Human resources compliance
- Organizational structure
- Updating and/or creating new profiles & job scopes of positions, as needed
- Systematization of organizational structure
- Human resources information and payroll
- Maintenance of employee records
- Accounting duties
- Miscellaneous documentation (e.g. from tax office [APR], KYC documents from bank/insurance broker, etc.)
Requirements
- Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive
- People oriented and results driven
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Knowledge of Serbian labor laws and regulations
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Degree in Human Resources, Law, or related field
- Strong references available
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience required
- 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
- 3+ years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations
- Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) certificate preferred
