The mission

Hyperoptic is more than just an internet service provider; it also installs its own fibre infrastructure into multi-occupancy buildings, bringing the UK’s fastest internet speeds to users. Your mission will be to provide exceptional customer service to Hyperoptic customers, demonstrating our company values in your telephone, email and chat conversations with our customers using a solution-focused approach.

Reporting Line

Reporting to Customer Support Team Leader.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Providing quick and outstanding customer support through all channels
  • Offer first line assistance to customers with technical, billing and account related queries
  • Work effectively with team leads and senior agents to identify timely resolutions to customer issues
  • Be a customer champion offering exceptional service, focused on first contact resolution
  • Maintaining clear, accurate customer records, update database records upon request
  • Work accurately with an eye for detail
  • Monitor ticket and call volumes at all times in order to meet our first response time target
  • Flag/address any outstanding issues in order to prevent escalations

Candidate profile:

  • Excellent oral and written English skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office would be desirable
  • Previous experience in customer service industry would be desirable
  • Communication Skills (able to maintain a professional and effective communication with customers)
  • Computer skills/strong technical aptitude (fast typer able to adjust to new computer platforms and systems) would be desirable
  • Problem solving mindset (logical thinking) and multitasking
  • Flexibility (adaptability) and patience
  • Proven time management skills and ability to articulate ideas clearly would be desirable
  • Independency (thinking on their own, proactive thinker, handle surprises) and negotiation skills would be desirable

The role will be based in Belgrade. The successful candidate will be offered a monthly salary and participation in a company incentive scheme.
