Inventory Planner

Core planning function to balance the customer demand and the supply of spare parts and furthermore, drive solutions to proactive maximize the available resources for the ICS customer within the available budget.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop analytical demand forecast models together with the relevant stakeholders to maximize the output
  • Monitor service levels and recommend methods to improve the performance within the available budget
  • Work with the supply chain to ensure early warning and quick reaction to potential supply issues and ensure most cost-effective resolution
  • Recommend corrective actions where stock is not available (Operational and strategic)
  • If required, interject into running operation and install safety measures (On time delivery related, cost related, etc.) to overcome short term issues and install long term solutions
  • Understand and communicate key issues to the affected stakeholders
  • Develop analytical demand forecast models together with the relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor operational Key performance indicators to identify availability risks
  • Drive innovation and support the organization to continuous improve and transform

Your profile:

To fulfil this position successfully, your qualifications must include:

  • Education in Project Management, Supply and Demand Planning (S&OP) and Business Analysis
  • 1 years’ experience in core process management dimensions such as conceptual design, analysis, process (re-) engineering and business requirements specification
  • Min 1 years of planning experience in a supply chain organization
  • Min 1 years of experience as a business analyst or similar function supporting the operations with decision supporting data
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) – B2 level
  • Team-player with cross-cultural awareness, customer service focus and result quality orientation
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to interface with different stakeholders and business partners to obtain and provide relevant information
  • Analytical, structural mindset and ability to understand, model and analyze data
  • Independent and self-motivated personality
