Ball Corporation is currently looking for a motivated and nimble person for the position:

Junior Sales/Supply & Demand Assistant

(Location: Belgrade Plant)

Primary purpose of position:

As a member of the Department, takes all necessary measures to achieve the set business goals within the Department, while respecting all the existing procedures and rules regarding the quality of work, protection at work and environmental protection.

Reports to: Sales Manager           

Main tasks:

Communication with clients for the following reasons:

  • Collection and entry of production orders (ATM) into the system
  • Communication with users and graphic coordinators about graphical solutions
  • Information on production, sales data and providing relevant information
  • Information on invoicing obsolete inventories, storage costs, graphic services and damaged packaging
  • Creating and sending customer visit reports if needed and approved by the team leaders
  • Coordinating meeting schedules for team leaders and clients
  • Joint visits to clients with team leaders to improve business operations
  • Handling complaints in accordance with the complaint resolution process
  • Collection and entry of sales orders into the system
  • Working on non-current inventory lists for the purpose of selling them
  • Self-initiative, the proactive finding of solutions to issues and challenges in everyday work with customers
  • Responsible and timely communication with customers and availability for questions and concerns
  • The ability to prioritize business tasks, be a good team player, but also be responsible when acting individually.

Ball internal reporting and keeping the data up-to-date:

  • Providing support for team leaders by creating the necessary reports
  • Creating weekly/monthly/annual forecasts for customers. Entering and updating the customer needs forecasts into a dedicated system.
  • Creating and maintaining up-to-date product codes and names (MM) in dedicated systems (SAP, Esmart, Promenta)
  • Creating and maintaining a database of commercial conditions for customers.
  • Performing the analysis of obsolete inventories per customer
  • Providing necessary sales presentations for customers in cooperation with the department heads
  • The preparation and distribution of price lists in accordance with the Ball procedures

Ball internal cooperation:

  • Cooperation with internal department members to provide the best possible customer service
  • Maintaining close communication with the Procurement and Logistics departments and the Customer technical support department
  • Tracking relevant graphic issues and projects to inform customers, and for necessary alignment
  • In connection with the above-mentioned jobs, all tasks that the Employer assigns to him/her, as well as all tasks that are specifically agreed on in writing

Cooperation:

  • Within the company:  With the Procurement and Logistics departments and Customer technical support department
  • Within the Ball corporation: With the Sales, Graphics and Marketing departments
  • Outside the company: With customers and service requesters
  • Within the company: With the Procurement and Logistics departments and Customer technical support department
  • Within the Ball corporation: With the Sales, Graphics and Marketing departments
  • Outside the company: With customers and service requesters 

Requirements:

  • High school level degree or above, preferable in the field of economics or administration
  • At least 1 year of working  experience within an international company is preferred
  • Very good organizational and communication skills, with high motivation for the job
  • Fluent in Serbian and English
  • Experience with using MS Office, Outlook; SAP desirable.
