Our client, a well established European banking group is looking for a qualified:


Deputy Head of Audit Department


Responsibilities:

  • Plan & execute audit programs to ensure procedural compliance & to improve risk control of business processes.
  • Perform value added audits with the objectives for increasing operational efficiency & effective utilization of resources.
  • Report on the audit findings & highlight areas for improvements along with the proposed recommendations.
  • Meet with colleague auditors to discuss the reports.
  • Maintain and enhance both professional and technical skills, and develop an understanding of the company operations.
  • To be recognized as being skilled and professional.
  • Ensure loyalty to departmental policies, procedures and quality standards.
  • Provide support to the Head of Audit Department on all issues related to Audit functions except in HR area.
  • Organize trainings for the team and provide guidelines for all audit assignments.
  • Find the best solutions for improvement of the department's efficiency.
  • Ensure accuracy of all audit reports.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in finance with Banks/Audit Companies/Multinational Companies (accountants and auditors).
  • Excellent report writing & communication skills & ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Proactive, flexible, assertive, loyal, discreet, detail-orientated & team player.
  • Field work ability (to cover Serbia).
