NETWORK ENGINEER

Allied Testing is a leading specialist QA and testing international firm with focus on finance industry. The IT department is looking to recruit a Network Engineer to work in a distributed international environment.

Required skills:

• Knowledge of ISO OSI model
• Experience with TCP/IP networking protocols
• Experience with VPN solutions
• Experience with Linux| Unix-like OS

Optional skills (nice to have):

• Experience with VoIP solutions
• Knowledge of coding languages for scripting
• Experience with Network Monitoring Solutions
• Good communication skills and teamwork
• English language (written)

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices
• Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure
• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
• Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)
• Maintain technical documentation
• Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
