Plant Engineering Cost Specialist
(located in Smederevo, Serbia)
Area of responsibility
- Responsibility of managing STD BOM and BOL changes, changes to Production BOL (connected to time increase or decrease)

Main tasks
- Updates and analyses the STD BOMs and BOLs for Change RFQ (ECO, EFR, DER etc.) calculation, preparing data for Engineering Change module in CWISE (item BOM/BOL, change description)
- Approves and releases the STD BOMs and BOLs for Changes (ECO, EFR, DER etc.) to production after impact calculation and agreement
- Process input data needed to create the STD BOM/BOL and basic COP (if COP import data available), release of Production BOM/BOL for Customer Adaptation harnesses for selected customers
- Identifies open technical topics and questions in Changes STD BOM/BOL structures and components in Change RFQ phase and communicates open topics/questions to Product Managers to clarify it
- Creates a design review for Change quotation purposes when necessary
- Proposes improvement suggestions to STD BOM and BOL during Change RFQ phase
- Understands customer technical demands and standards, confirms and instructs that demands are taken into account in change quotation/ECO change STD BOM and BOL
- Participates Change RFQ kick-off and weekly meetings and feasibility studies when necessary
- Saves and handles customer documentation in PKC WISE system in Change RFQ phase
- Finds and corrects possible mistakes in customer documentation and communicates with Product Manager is case mistakes found from customer documentation during Change RFQ phase
- Explains customer demands to Sourcing and Operations regarding ECO changes
- Follows-up and reports the on-going, open and closed changes, in quotation process
- Follows agreed processes for e.g. Material Code creation, Standard Time System, RFQ Process and Engineering Change Order Process and develops current processes further
- Challenges, monitors and develops existing data in ERP system (e.g. Scrap% etc.) including factors impacting to Costing process together with other departments
- Checks customer data and Wise STD BOM for Change RFQ STD time calculation
- Compares different production methods and selects suitable for Change RFQ
- Monitors actual labor time in production and compare it with RFQ STD times
- Monitors that STD base times are not changed
- Supports in research and definition of new processes and STD times, understands the basics and ensures in co-operation with NPI that Standard Times are the same in EUSA every location
- Approves changes to STD times according the approval process
- Supports Central Costing in RFQ process and new product/component creation when needed

Know how needed in the task
Education
- Preferably Bachelor´s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
Work experience
- Preferably relevant work experience at least 3 years
