Reporting to our Head of Legal and Compliance, you'll be playing an important part in the KYC and Responsible Gaming functions of the business activity. Assisting in the development and implementation of procedures and processes in line with the regulations as well as mitigating the business risk exposure. You will work to prevent gambling from being a source of crime, and ensure that gambling is conducting in an open and fair manner. You will work to protect children and vulnerable people from being harmed and exploited by gambling.
The chosen candidate will work remotely due to the current COVID-19 situation, until it is safe to return to working from the office.
You will be required to:
- Work with the Head of Legal and Compliance and MLRO within the daily operation of the business activity and processes to support the regulations and compliance requirements to mitigate the business risks regarding Responsible Gaming and Customer Due Diligence.
- Ensure KYC and responsible gaming awareness is implemented as an integral part of the daily operations within the whole company as well as actively help improve the Company’s monitoring systems and processes.
- Perform KYC verification checks, focused on enhanced due diligence and affordability checks to ensure the Customer accounts remain updated in line with the record keeping requirements and policies.
- Perform Responsible Gaming checks on the Customers to ensure compliance with the Company’s responsible gaming policies and monitor player transactions and analyse the customers’ accounts to identify responsible gaming issues and/or problems.
- Be the first point of escalation for all player protection cases and queries, and interact with players who require assistance with KYC or responsible gaming matters when required, ensuring the best users experience within the offer and/or use of the products and services.
- Review, monitor, and report customers claims and/or requests related to responsible gaming and KYC matters and provide support and assistance to the Customer Support Department, by using the Company’s tool Zendesk.
- Assist to monitor, analyze, report, and implement the procedures and processes of the Company, to support and improve the Responsible Gambling, Know Your Client (KYC), Customer Support and Record Keeping Policies of the Company.
- Assist the other department with new member onboarding and ad hoc training sessions for different business areas, such as KYC verification and Responsible Gaming to ensure the Employees ongoing and up to date knowledge.
- Cooperate with the other departments to develop and improve the internal procedures and internal Company tools such as Back Office, Zendesk, etc.
- Any other tasks that management might assign.
The requirements for this role are:
- At least one year’s experience in compliance and/or customer support environment
- Previous experience in a gambling company is an asset.
- Ability to work within a dynamic and fast environment
- English at mother tongue level – written and spoken
- Highly motivated, energetic, result-oriented person.
- Great communication skills, responsible and good organizational skills
- Can-do attitude
NOTE
- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the employees are working from home until the pandemic situation normalizes and safe return to the office is secured. The company provides all the necessary equipment for work from home.
