Due to the growing business of Dr.Max in Serbia, we are searching for a dynamic, analytical, self-driven and result oriented candidate who will play an important role in supporting our commercial and finance teams, for the position: Pricing Specialist, One executive (Serbia-Belgrade)
Job description:
- Key role is to participate in development ( in line with corporate policy and local market needs) a pricing strategy, including segmentation by region and potentially by pharmacy, designed to maximize the net profitability of the company.
- Collaborate with Group Commercial team, local buyers, category management and operations to establish pricing for new offerings, as well as to manage the ongoing price of existing products and services including annual pricing adjustments based on changing market conditions.
- Analyzes transactional data in order to measure and evaluate progress against financial and strategic goals.
- Tracks pricing performance together with category management team and buyers by Segment and Region across the product lines and sub-territories.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and IT organizations to ensure pricing project objectives are met in accordance with key stakeholder requirements. Supports effective price communications across the organization.
- Collects prepare and analyzes historical cost data for use in budgeting
- Identify pricing process and system improvements and drive the implementation of final solutions.
- Drive special projects as assigned, primarily in support of intercompany and customer pricing and invoicing requirements.
- Support the daily pricing adjustments process for quotations, orders, and invoices.
- Troubleshoot pricing discrepancies and implement solutions with the team.
- Administers communication of pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are continuously updated as business requirements change.
- Assists with internal and external audit testing
- Works independently while contributing to the team through pricing, reporting, analyzing, estimating, and auditing
- Prepares written and verbal reports to program team and management regarding program performance
- Works with the Business Development team to prepare compliant, responsive, price-competitive cost proposals
- Assists in preparing proposal cost narratives and cost volumes
- Maintains and update internal cost proposal data/information
- Create a detailed price breakdown for each product and process in the system for approval.
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Two to five (2-5) years with pricing experience
- Strong computer skills, including Advanced Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in economics, finance, or other comparable business or applied sciences discipline.
- Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industries a plus.
- Team player and self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a solution-oriented attitude.
- Highly analytical and skilled problem-solver, with practical experience with financial or statistical modeling and in the quantitative analysis of large datasets.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environments.
