Product Planning Lead

Grundfos is the leading global player within water solutions. Our Domestic Building Services (DBS) develop and manufacture domestic pumps for residential use. Our main applications provide homeowners with solutions for heating, hot water, boosting, drainage, and wastewater - essential elements in our everyday lives.

We base our operation on a rolling 18-month planning horizon. In this role, you will be the key connector between local master planners and the global supply chain planning, ensuring the communication flow both ways. This is key to strengthen our capacity to foresee and mitigate constraints and to optimize prioritizations on both the local and global level.

What is the job about?

Connect local and global supply planning

This role offers you a high degree of interaction throughout the Supply Planning organization in Grundfos across several locations. You will be working closely together with the local master planners at our site in Serbia as well as France, Denmark, USA, and China.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Develop an 18-rolling-month plan for our Small UP, Scala, and Sololift products in alignment with plant capacity, supplier status, and inventory targets.
• Ensure weekly/daily follow-up on plan execution and escalate if needed.
• Support weekly SIOE and monthly SIOP process by providing accurate data on the product portfolio plan execution.
• Ensure phase-in and phase-out activities are reflected in the plan and executed properly.
• Drive SNP optimization in planning processes and SNP accuracy.

We are looking for a person with a solid background in production planning. You are an advanced communicator with a collaborative mindset. You have an eye for how data, process flows, and planning interact.

Furthermore, you will:

• Develop an 18-rolling-month plan for our Small UP, Scala, and Sololift products in alignment with plant capacity, supplier status, and inventory targets.
• Ensure weekly/daily follow-up on plan execution and escalate if needed.

What do you need to apply?

• Hold a relevant degree or equivalent work experience.
• Have experience with developing or creating supply chain processes.
• Are familiar with implementing strategies and strategic initiatives in a complex business environment.
• Significant knowledge of best practices and relevant systems within Supply Chain.
• Join with 5+ years of relevant work experience required from a global manufacturing environment.
• Have significant communication and relation-building skills.
• Are proficient in English.
