Program Manager
to join their already market leading team. This position is based in our Novi Sad Development Team
You will have Program Manager experience in a software development environment that builds and delivers world class e-Commerce solutions on web and mobile platforms.
KEY ASPECTS OF THIS PROGRAM MANAGER:
- Program management in an e-Commerce software environment
- Understand website, web services, e-Commerce and mobile application development
- Practitioner of SCRUM or another Agile Framework
- Skilled communicator with Product Owners, Software Developers & Business People
- Multi-platform project design and specification expertise
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Serbian
- Experienced with Indian and American development teams
- Computer literacy: website, Android and iOS applications
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understands product scope and target market segments in support of development
- Maintains clearly defined program scope documentation in-line with program requirements, i.e. business, product, marketing, support and delivery requirements
- Facilitates the work of cross-functional program teams through regular meetings, creation of and preparation of agendas, and regular progress report-outs
- Establish resourcing plans by working with appropriate resource managers
- Detect, highlight and solve key gaps early that may result in delayed deliverables
- Develop and manage program schedules and milestones
- Communicate program status to respective program stakeholders and sponsors
- Provide technical assistance in negotiations with outsourcing companies
- Provide direction to in-house and outsourced development teams
- Produce accurate estimates for tasks and assist project scheduling activities
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Strong verbal and written skills in English and Serbian
- Leadership: Excellent team and organizational leadership skills working with senior management to individual contributors; developing, managing and mentoring collaborative cross-functional teams
- Planning: Use sound Agile methodologies to manage the software development work, develop the right program plans, eg. resource plans, Work Breakdown Structures, risk registers, schedules, and then execute to your plans.
- Analytical: Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information; analyze situations, define key objectives, and develop strategies and action plans
- Oral and written communication: Ability to communicate program vision and collaboratively align diverse organizations; must have strong presentation and group facilitation skills
- Interpersonal skills: Must possess strong people skills and professionalism with the ability to maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues at all levels as well as internal/external customers
- Team Player: Consummate team player with a positive, flexible and creative approach
- Project, Program, or Product Life Cycles: Experience with developing and executing a plan in accordance with the phases of a lifecycle. Key will be the use of gates to drive key decisions. To be accomplished within an Agile/SCRUM environment
- Flexibility: Must be able to make adjustments on the fly. Able to deal with ambiguous or undefined situations and highlight and resolve them. Ability to adjust priorities and work scope in an effective and efficient manner
REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, business, or project management
- 3+ years managing and driving multiple, technical projects or programs in a fast-paced or enterprise environment
- Application of Agile and/or SCRUM product development frameworks is highly desired
- Project/Program Management Training or Certification (CSM, PMI) are preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office apps or equivalent: MSProject, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
