Joorney is a business plan writing company that focuses heavily on specific purpose business writing and financial forecasting, rather than on all-around, comprehensive consulting services. The overwhelming majority of the company’s services are provided to clients operating or aiming to operate in the North American markets.

Locally, the Belgrade team consists of about 30 people, and is looking to make a vital step forward and be ready to grow exponentially in terms of manpower. We are looking for a Project Manager to help us in our growth. If you are passionate about delivering top notch products, have strong interpersonal skills, and are adept at working under pressure to meet tight deadlines, we offer a dynamic environment for you to grow together with our team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Review all documentation received from clients
  • Request and gather additional information from clients and provide instructions to writers assigned to each project
  • Regularly communicate with writers to ensure that the project is on the right track and offer technical and project-specific guidance
  • Review business plans in detail - ensure they are complete, comprehensive and include all relevant information - and request internal changes if necessary
  • Deliver business plans to clients and discuss client satisfaction
  • Implement any client-requested additions and changes
  • Monitor and control to track projects’ progress beginning-to-end, including design and completion
  • Lead and motivate colleagues by providing regular and constructive feedback
  • Coordinate and communicate with all colleagues involved in project completion, including salespeople, writers, proofreaders and designers
  • Identify and manage risks to ensure every delivery is on time and as per the client’s expectations
  • Actively manage relationships with clients

Candidate profile:

  • Outstanding written and spoken English language skills [candidate will need to communicate with clients and our international team members and review documents in English on a regular basis]
  • High attention to details and a knack for analytics and creative problem-solving
  • Multitasking skills and the ability to see the wider picture
  • Excellent organizational skills [candidate will continuously need to plan the use of resources to meet deadlines]
  • At least one year of management-related experience, preferably managing projects in companies offering professional or consulting services
  • Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or a higher degree level [a business-related degree is preferred]
  • Understanding financial statements
  • Proficiency in Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, or French is a plus
  • Experience in working in an international and/or in a fast-paced environment is a plus

Work Conditions
