Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the achievement of the purchasing targets agreed upon with the Indirect needs at of the plant
• Maintain and execute the purchasing process of the plant
• Keep and manage cost targets during the life cycle of the program
• Recommend alternative products and supervision of changes in purchasing goods/parts according to requirements
• Identify new suppliers, increase the local content
• Develop a purchasing strategy in cooperation with the Commodity Manager
• Execute the final negotiations to nominate the suppliers to the respective program in collaboration with the Commodity Manager
• Manage and ensure the timelines and milestones of the suppliers
• Negotiate any problematic supplier related issue
• Responsible for administration of P.O. numbers (issue, print out, forward to vendor if required and distribute to Accounting & Receiving)
• Provide feedback to departments in regards to purchase order requisition status in a timely manner

Knowledge and Education

• Education degree – not less IV level
• Strong interpersonal skills with a clear speaking voice and calm disposition
• Very good language skills in Serbian and English; language skills in German or another European language would be a plus
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and SAP program
• Excellent knowledge in the field of cost analysis and contracting
• Must be able to deal with and develop suppliers
• Team Player skills

Work Experience

• Minimum three to five years practical experience in purchasing within a production or product development environment in the Automotive or Automotive supplier industry Familiarity with Bill of Material
