We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager (m/f) to build and lead the entire quality function at our new production site in Subotica.
With your expertise and leadership, quality will not only be implemented – it will be redefined. Your goal: ensuring customer satisfaction, establishing a zero-defect mindset, and strengthening quality awareness across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and further develop the integrated management system at our Subotica site.
- Ensure compliance with and continual improvement of management systems (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, TISAX, ISO 50001).
- Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal and external system, process, and product audits.
- Act as the main contact for all audit-related topics and interface between the plant, customers, and external bodies.
- Ensure adherence to customer specifications, legal requirements, and quality standards.
- Implement and further develop the quality policy and support all departments in applying proven quality tools (8D, FMEA, Control Plan, etc.).
- Lead activities to reduce defect costs, internal/external complaints, and PPM levels.
- Handle customer and supplier complaints, including leading the 8D process and corrective actions.
- Coordinate PPAP activities and manage changes within the quality context.
- Develop and maintain quality-relevant documentation such as control plans, work instructions, calibration and measurement systems.
- Support risk analysis (e.g. PFMEA), measurement system analysis (MSA), and statistical process control (SPC).
- Collaborate closely with purchasing and supplier management to ensure supplier quality and conduct supplier audits.
Your Profile
- University degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or similar.
- 3–5 years of experience in quality management, ideally in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of applicable standards and systems (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, etc.).
- Solid audit experience and a deep understanding of quality processes and methods.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans.
- High level of ownership, assertiveness, and analytical thinking.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus).
