Our client is Cemm Thome member of Amphenol Group, focused on development and manufacturing of a range of standard products for the automotive lighting industry. Due to support their business expansion on Serbian market we are searching for highly motivated and proactive candidates for following position based in Trstenik:
Quality and Production Manager
Requirements:
- University education of a technical or electrotechnical background
- Minimum 3 years of experience with production and quality standards
- Good knowledge of quality tools; quality system IATF
- Fluent English language knowledge
Main responsibilities:
Quality tasks
- Devising and establishing a company`s quality procedures, standards and specification
- Reviewing customer requirements and make sure they are met
- Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
- Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety
- Making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards
- Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
- Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
- Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
- Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them
- Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business
- Making sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors
Production tasks
- Oversee the production process, drawing up a production schedule
- Ensure that the production is cost effective
- Decide what resources are required
- Draft a timescale for the job
- Estimate costs and set the quality standards
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
- Be responsible for the selection and maintenance of the equipment
- Monitor product standards and implement quality controls programmes
- Liaise among different departments.e.g. suppliers, managers
- Work with managers to implement the company`s policies and goals
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers
- Review worker performance
- Identify training needs
