What You'll Do
- Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and connecting them with solutions from our comprehensive product portfolio.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, helping resolve issues related to new projects, product specifications, and material availability.
- Gather and analyze valuable market intelligence on customers, competitors, pricing trends, and industry developments.
- Contribute local insights to help shape our sales strategies and marketing plans.
- Monitor relevant local regulations that might impact our business.
- Represent Covestro at trade fairs and in local industry associations.
Who You'll Work With
- Externally: Customers at all levels, industry stakeholders, value chain partners, universities, industry associations, and government departments.
- Internally: Country Cluster Manager, Account Managers, Key Account Managers, Commercial Operations teams, Supply Chain Center, and Application Development.
What You Bring
- Commercial education or degree in business, mechanical engineering, or chemical discipline.
- 5-7 years of business experience, including sales experience.
- Strong managerial skills: critical thinking, organization, decisiveness, and sound judgment.
- Ability to work with diverse cultures and willingness to travel.
- Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in local language and English.
- Proficiency with MS-Office, SAP, and CRM systems.
- Technical knowledge to consult customers on products and applications.
- Ideally you have experience in a similar role at an international company.
