Work in Serbia: Foundation RMF Balkan was founded to provide a comprehensive response to the needs of refugees and migrants in Serbia during the refugee crises.

Since then, RMF has implemented following areas of activity: Development of social enterprise; Holistic healthcare and trauma healing programs; Reconciliation through sports for youth and Youth participation.

Sales Manager

Location: Belgrade

Help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our organization competitive and innovative.

You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.

Responsibilities:

Managing the business:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team;
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence:
  • Develop sales strategies to acquire new customers or clients;
  • Determine and assign sales quotas, targets, and/or goals. Project and forecast annual and quarterly revenue and for one or more sales territories;
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans;
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status;
  • Analyze sales data on sales results and develop plans to address performance gaps;
  • Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends;
  • Collaborate with marketing executives to develop lead generation plans;
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products;
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team;
  • Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for his/her defined geography and accounts;
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics;
  • Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies;
  • Prepare budgets and approve expenditures;
  • Provide daily report of field sales success and communicate VOC data to superiors;
  • Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and will document customer interactions;
  • Track sales team metrics and share them with company leadership;
  • Prepare reporting as needed;
  • Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with territory plans;
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies;

Managing customer needs

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs;
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them;
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences;
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service;
  • Provide expertise when setting and adjusting pricing plans and discount rates;
  • Provide advanced negotiation expertise;
  • Connect company headquarters with customers and salespeople in the field;

Managing people

  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives;
  • Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met;
  • Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition;
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly;
  • Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals;
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
  • Set targets, performance plans, and rigorous, objective standards for sales representatives;
  • Meet with reps one-on-one weekly to review performance, progress, and targets;
  • Deliver deep performance reviews for each individual rep once or twice per year;
  • Coach individual sales representatives one-on-one through phone work and prospecting help sessions to help them improve sales performance;
  • Participate in sales call rides and planned field days;
  • Counsel, support, discipline, and fire underperforming sales representatives;
  • Develop a scalable sales process and ensure representatives adhere to it correctly;
  • Ensure that reps use sales technologies, such as a CRM, correctly;
  • Plan and implement training programs. Hold regular skills training sessions with internal or external sales trainers;
  • Plan and preside over weekly sales team meetings;
  • Hold team building events onsite or offsite;
  • Recruit, select, onboard, and train new sales reps;
  • In some cases, oversee regional and local sales managers;
  • Motivate and engage the sales team with monetary and non-monetary (intrinsic) motivational tactics, such as sales contests, lucrative incentive packages, prizes, and public recognition;
  • Unite the team: Ensure reps work as a positive unit and share their best practices;
  • Set a good example for the team. Work according to company culture and values, prioritize ruthlessly, use good communication, and deliver results effectively.
