 is looking for a:

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

FOR SOUTH SERBIA, MONTENEGRO, ALBANIA, KOSOVO

I. Purpose of Position

  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory and key accounts to generate new business for the organization’s products and services.
  • Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and key accounts by effectively selling the company’s products and related services.
  • Grow the Business and capitalize on the unfolding opportunities in South Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo for Gilbarco Veeder-Root's products.
  • Demonstrate the company products and give advice to clients on the benefits of using their products to reduce costs and increase revenue.
  • Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.

II. Key Responsibilities

      Take full responsibility of maximizing sales and delivering sales targets in Serbia:

  • Promote Gilbarco's corporate image in all business interactions with prospective customers.
  • Educate business community on Gilbarco's product lines in assigned territory.
  • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Track sales activity and prospects using the company-provided Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM).
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services.
  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
  • Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization.
  • Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services.
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery, schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Develops annual business plan in conjunction with Country Manager SEE which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus the Sales Associate on meeting or exceeding sales quota.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

III. Background and Skill

  • Demonstrable relationship management skills supported by ability to build a solid network of contacts in the business
  • Outstanding sales experience with proven track record against business objectives
  • 2-5 years of outside sales experience
  • Experienced in cold calling
  • Closing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet quota-level goals
  • Technical education or experience with technical products
  • Good command of English
  • Working experience in an international environment
  • Competent office software skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
