Threat Protection & Defence, IT
In order to protect and safeguard the business, the Threat Protection & Defence (“TP&D”) team provide global support in relation to managing Information Security, Business Continuity and Data Protection risks.
The TP&D team also manages and coordinates the Technology responses for external audit, control reports, due diligence questionnaires and proposal documentation.
On a day to day basis, the role will support the global business requirements by providing centralised due diligence responses and proposal documentation, whilst also managing the Technology governance framework library to promote standardisation of existing and new processes. Working closely with the TP&D team and the wider Technology team at all levels, the role will be responsible for the end to end Technology governance framework and will be involved with key business users.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the coordination of the Technology governance framework, including the responses contained within SANNE’s control reports, whilst working with the Head of TP&D to standardise the Technology team’s control framework and support alignment with ISO 27001.
Additional tasks will include managing Technology vendor assessments and the central tracking of audit and assessment action points.
The role will require the ongoing formation of a Technology audit and response repository, to be curated by the individual and to manage the deliverables of other Technology teams in multiple jurisdictions. Day to day, the repository will be key to ensuring that documentation responses for audits, proposals, due diligence questionnaires and various Technology-based documentation can be delivered on time and to appropriate standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing responses to Technology-related information requests and will need to track responses and collaborate with other Technology stakeholders; this will involve working closely with the Information Security, Business Continuity and Data Protection managers in the TP&D team.
Reporting to the Head of TP&D, and with some supervision, the individual will take ownership and responsibility for the delivery of the Technology governance framework, including the documentation of both existing operational processes and new processes as required by the Technology project pipeline. This will include the scheduling and coordination of Technology document updates, maintaining policies, procedures, ‘how to’ guides, the preparation of training materials and managing updates to the TP&D portal on the intranet.
Ensuring senior management are kept informed through regular updates as required.
