Scrum Master
Location: Dublin
Job description
- Organize and facilitate software delivery planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, planning, demos and other agile ceremonies
- Identify and remove impediments or conflicts that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver
- Coach and mentor agile team members on agile standards and best practices; ensure consistent best practices across the work streams
- Lead through your previous experience with agile delivery, foster a continuous improvement culture with teams who are responsive to change and own their projects
- Assist product owners in keeping a comprehensive refined product backlog.
- Maintain and report against relevant metrics (i.e. burn down and velocity, etc.)
- Assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency and radiate information
- Utilize the lessons from each delivery to strive towards increasing the velocity of your team
Required/recommended skills and knowledge:
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Deep understanding of Scrum and Agile values and principles
- Technical project management experience
- Experience managing Agile / Scrum development teams to deliver technology solutions that meet customer expectations for timeliness and quality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate across third parties and technical and business product managers
- Deep understanding of all aspects of software design
- Willingness to understand new technologies to be able to contribute and facilitate discussions in the team
- Technology degree or combination of relevant education and experience
