Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) is a global organization that targets to innovate and improve production technology to create competitiveness for Grundfos. We set the direction on how to produce for Grundfos Operations and defines the global standard for processes and methods deployed in Manufacturing globally.

As a Senior Engineer in Manufacturing Engineering, you are part a team of professional and skilled Engineers that set the global standard within production governance, maintenance, modularization, manufacturing data and performance measures. Together the team has the competence to set the global standard to make the foundation and drive the long-term capacity and investment planning across manufacturing globally. Doing this involves stakeholders globally and at all levels in the organization and requires good business acumen and communication skills.

In the team, you are responsible for the global standard and process to define, measure, and visualize manufacturing capacity and utilization.

In this position, you will:

• Set direction and drive the global standard for manufacturing capacity and utilization.
• Define processes/methods and tools deployed globally – support and follow-up.
• Integrate the process for manufacturing capacity forecasting and planning into the yearly cycle for Investment planning.
• Drive quality in processes and data.
• Drive structured problem solving, analysis, and fact-based decision making.
• Train stakeholders incl. Manager and user.
• Drive strategic Manufacturing initiatives to enable manufacturing excellence. I.e. Plan, support, train, deploy and follow-up according to agreed rollout plans.
• Establish a global network of stakeholders to deploy global processes and standards.

Skilled Senior Engineer in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

You have good business acumen and are excellent at interacting with stakeholders from different cultures and organizational levels. You enjoy working in teams and are also goal-oriented and confident taking the lead and driving teams towards results. You are a competent networker. You are outgoing and a great communicator who knows how to maneuver and build relations in a global environment.

Moreover, you:

• Hold a Master’s degree in manufacturing or mechanical Engineering or similar.
• > 5 years of relevant work experience within a mid to large technical organization.
• > 5 years, Experience from working in Production, or in a manufacturing engineering or maintenance function.
• > 3 years, Experience working across organizational boundaries & across production sites globally.
• Familiar with IT and experience with SAP as ERP system is an advantage.
• English language required, high level written and spoken.
• You are able to communicate fluently in English - and work in global organizations, across geographical and cultural differences.
• You are willing to travel internationally.
