Senior Software Engineer .NET

Cimmaron Software, Inc. is a San Diego based independent software development shop focusing on SaaS solutions for the financial and mortgage industries. We have been in business since 1999 and are a profitable, privately owned company managed by software engineers. We are looking to expand our software team in Belgrade over the next six to 12 months and hire up to four developers. Here is what we are looking for and would love to hear from you. Please do not be intimidated by the technical requirements, everything besides honest, hard-working, and intelligent is trainable.

• You must be conversant in English. This is not a client facing position but all communication is done in English and the applicant must be able to read and write well, as well as participate in on-line meetings. We are not looking for English majors though, so insecurities about language mastery should not prevent you from applying.
• We design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain our own software in our own data centers on company owned hardware and infrastructure. This means a few very positive and exciting things for you.
• We are not looking for ‘bodies’ to re-sell your hours and make margin on it. You will be working on a company owned product. This means that we can pass on higher salaries to our employees since we hire direct.
• You will not be shuffled from client to client, need to deal with competing priorities, and feel like an outsider on the team.
• You will be exposed to the entire software stack and learn how modern distributed software solutions operate. We do not generate our own electricity but pretty much everything else is done in-house. Active Directory, routing, firewalls, geo-redundancy, replication, business requirements, testing, threading, caching, security, Azure integrations, customer support are just some of the areas that we deal in. We think this holds great growth potential for our staff.

• We are currently looking for the following roles, hopefully as many as possible in one person.
• A software developer that will also be responsible for some light management duties for our Belgrade office. No firings, advice on hiring, monitoring of staff and technical oversight.
• .Net Windows front end developer. Develop visually pleasing front end using Windows Form and our custom ORM.
• .Net web front end developer. Develop high quality web frontends using commercial libraries, web apis, etc.
• Technologies used
• MS AD, Azure AD, .net VB/c#, Workflow foundation, Sql server, threading, windows forms, PKI, Windows 10, pivot tables, PowerShell, Office 2016 and office 365.
• Salary and benefits
• We are very generous with pay for the right candidate. Our company is profitable yet very small because we hire quality individuals that do not require hand-holding.

• This is a full-time position. We are not looking for part timers. However, it is not an 8-4 job either. You are expected to be a consummate professional, someone whose trade and craft are software engineering and not a clock puncher. Time off and holidays are provided for and are completely negotiable.
