Usual daily activities are

• Gathering information and designing infrastructure architecture 
• Designing and implementation of server and storage infrastructure
• Working with client's IT teams to setup infrastructure for our solution
• Managing solution deployments in the field 
• Assessing risks and mitigation related to infrastructure
• Scoping and capacity planning (Servers, storages)
• Estimating costs for infrastructure components 
• Writing infrastructure-related sections of solution proposals
• Designing and implementation of internal infrastructure to support inhouse development and testing processes 
• Monitoring internal servers and services 
• Managing O365
• Documenting operational procedures (backup/restore, scheduled tasks) 
• Writing Training material for Client IT Departments 
• Conducting training sessions with Client IT Departments 
• Providing second-level support to Client IT Departments
• Maintaining troubleshooting documentation for our solution infrastructure based on the support requests
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving: must display ability to troubleshoot in-depth infrastructure related problems

Essential skills

• 7+ years of experience working as a Systems Engineer in a mostly Windows Server environment
• Ability to independently perform system support responsibilities for environment build and maintenance, including change requests outside of business hours
• Expert knowledge of Windows server 2012 – 2019, Microsoft MCSE (Server Infrastructure) certification is a plus
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure
• Good knowledge of at least one virtualization technology
• Good knowledge of PowerShell
• Basic network engineering skills
• Understanding Change Management Process
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic working environment
