We are looking for:

Small and Medium Accounts Area Manager

3 work positions in Belgrade, 1 work position in Novi Sad, 1 work position in Kragujevac, 1 work position in Niš

Key responsibilities:

  • Accountable for short and long term strategy development and implementation to achieve Telenor’s acquisition, retention, and revenue goals monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Identify and reports on market trends, competitive landscape and potential sales opportunities that will help maximize penetration and increase market share
  • Develop, build and implement a culture that drives performance which consistently meets and beats defined KPI’s
  • Work collaboratively with all other internal departments to ensure the needs of SMA team and their clients are being met and aligned with strategic and tactical initiatives within Telenor, evaluate operational and process flow and implement efficiencies that will continually improve CSAT, ESAT and results
  • Talent scouting & headhunting
  • AM selection
  • AM’s Performance monitoring and improving
  • Monthly monitoring of team overall performance with transparent communication of the next steps and activities to Head of SMA

Managing the offers:

  • Revising AM’s activities and offers by controlling quantity and quality of information entered in the BID tool and BEasy CRM;
  • Approve BIDs at dedicated level

Implementation of company standards and values:

  • Giving a personal example by respecting the code of conduct and corporate values
  • Compliance of HSSE standards

Expectations from SMAAM - to:

  • Act in an executive manner representing Telenor at multiple functions, press related events and shows, whose decision and actions must be in line with company values and goals
  • Act as a leader and coach by providing strategic and tactical direction, define and establish objectives, prepare, monitor and review progress, motivate and ensure the sales teams are performing to established standards
  • Have regular 1:1 metings to review AM activity, pipeline health and give coaching/feedback
  • Provide regular updates to the senior leadership team on market and KPI developments
  • Budget & operational responsibility
  • Additional job function as required

For the good start, you will need:

  • Preferably University degree or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 3-years B2B sales experience; preferably 1 year in a leadership position
  • Successful track record in sales or in managing sales teams with excellent employee retention record in last 2 years
  • Knowledge of the Telecommunications industry preferred
  • Excellent understanding of local market, trends and competition is an asset
  • Fluent knowledge of English (Written & Verbal) is required
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Has expertise in problem management, negotiations and conflict resolution
  • Has the ability to deal effectively and professionally in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment, both working individually and in a team
