JOB DESCRIPTION
The Platform software engineer develops complex software divided into different modules necessary for vehicles, such as GSM, Bluetooth, WIFI, diagnostics and much more. This software is hardware abstraction layer which provides application programming interfaces for the application. Software development for the automotive industry today introduces various important subjects such as security, CAN communication, cellular, etc. All these features are the responsibility of our team and our main goal is to develop and improve them with innovative ideas.
IN YOUR DAY TO DAY JOB YOU WILL BE:
- Collaborating with diverse international teams of experts;
- Evaluating current technical solutions and propose improvements;
- Analyzing the eventual issues and providing solutions;
- Taking full ownership and responsibility for the code you create;
- Cooperating with international development teams;
- Working in agile team and following scrum/SAFe methodology;
- Working on innovative ideas.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge in C++ and/or C programming language;
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and software design patterns;
- Experience working in Linux environment;
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices;
- Knowledge of the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Fluent in English.
