Supply Chain Administrator – Purchasing operations

Job Summary:
Supply chain administrator will assist to Director of Supply Chain and Logistics in organizing procurement operations. Main tasks will be in supporting the purchasing demands to suppliers. Supply chain administrator will ensure sufficient level of stock availability for unhindered delivery of goods to clients.
Essential Function:
- Strategic supplier management and replenishment planning.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding daily operational activities to ensure supply availability and schedules, cost optimization and contract execution.
- Supplier management for supplier assessment, getting quotations up to purchase orders and deliveries.
- Manage purchase orders and identify items form ‘Critical Items’ list.
- Inventory management, production and forecast analysis.
- Market analyze to identify new opportunities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor long-term procurement strategy.
- Work closely with technical department and production for lean purchasing.
- Liaise with stakeholders for internal and external audits, ensure legal compliance according to EU and local regulations.
- Efficient quality implementation and support in control.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Economy or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in import/export, re-exportation and logistic operations.
- In-depth knowledge of customs procedures and laws as well as comprehensive grasp of logistics operations and practices.
- Advantage is completed course for Customs officer.
- Fluency in English and/or German language.
- Proficiency in computer use: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer.
- Strong personal initiative and willingness to accept responsibilities.
- Good communication skills.
