JOB DESCRIPTION
Continental's Remote Vehicle Data (RVD) platform, is the foundation for innovative connected services. The platform permits unified access to multi-brand vehicle data via various hardware options and targets a wide range of potential customers. RVD is fully integrated into Continental’s modular cloud approach for connected service solutions, providing customers with an end-to-end solution along the complete value chain of connected services.
As a System Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall project management of a complex software project in compliance with the Continental processes and guidelines. You will oversee and coordinate multiple teams across the world, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within the budget and on the agreed quality.

In your day to day job you will:
- Act as a project manager on a system level
- Define the project planning and time-schedule in line with the customer requests
- Track the project progress and define corrective measures if deviating from the plan
- Perform risk assessment, control and steer the implementation of risk mitigation measures
- Define the resource planning, determining what resources (staff, test equipment, material) and what quantities of each resource are to be used in order to perform the project activities
- Manage the development project team in order to accomplish the project objectives
- Ensure that project objectives (schedule, budget, quality) for the overall development project are met
- Report the status of the project development on a regular basis
- Actively manage stakeholder expectations
- Build up and maintain a supportive culture of cooperation and teamwork within the project
Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering or a comparable professional qualification
- High level of experience in the management co-ordination of tasks related to software implementation, quality and integration involving multiple international and remote teams
- Experience with Cloud based solutions, Smartphone applications and in vehicle devices
- Knowledge of relevant project management processes
- Knowledge and experience of agile development processes (Kanban, Scrum)
- Fluent in English
