Primary purpose of position:
We are looking for a talented Sourcer to join our recruiting team, focused on sourcing and engaging passive talent for a wide range of skill sets within our corporate and manufacturing locations globally. This person will focus on building our candidate pipelines and delivering hires to our global organization.
Reports to: Manager, Talent Acquisition
Main tasks:
- Source and attract top talent for a wide range of skill sets across our corporate functions and manufacturing locations
- Partners with our full life-cycle recruiting team on building top of funnel (candidates) across various roles
- Own and develop candidate pipeline through research, outreach and full candidate assessment/interviewing
- Involved in intake meetings and debriefs
- Acts as a subject matter expert in the business, our needs, and initial vetting talent
- Constantly generating pipeline, while being closely aligned with recruiting partners and business leaders
- Develops talent market analysis reports for the growth recruiting org and hiring managers
- Acts as an ambassador of Ball in all candidate/external communications
- Effectively communicates Ball’s value proposition to top talent, working to increase and strengthen our brand in the market
- Up to date on industry trends, actively seeking new channels of sourcing to engage talent for current or future needs
- Use an array of tools to build robust pipelines (Open Web Boolean Searches, ATS, Networking events, etc.)
Requirements:
- Required 3-5 years of recruiting/sourcing experience (in-house or agency)
- Demonstrated strength and passion for using various sourcing techniques including internet research, Boolean searches, data mining, social media, networking, etc.
- Track record of success in a metrics driven environment and delivering quality candidate flows that have led to interviews and hires
- Ability to meet growing pipeline demand in a dynamic environment
- Proven ability to track and organize data
- Works both independently and collaboratively
- Attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency
- Creative and can think out of the box to source candidates for hard-to-fill positions
