The mission

Hyperoptic is more than just an internet service provider; it also installs its own fibre infrastructure into multi-occupancy buildings, bringing the UK’s fastest internet speeds to users. Your mission will be to work within the Fibre Team to co-ordinate the ordering and installation of our fibres circuits across cities in the UK.

Reporting Line

Reporting to the Fibre Team Leader, you will have the chance to make the role your own and help bring high speed broadband to our customers across the UK.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Co-ordinates the installation of fibre infrastructure across cities in the UK
  • Reviews costs of fibre delivery and raise escalations where necessary
  • Ensuring all jobs are scheduled in a timely manner using internal scheduling tools
  • Arranges access for surveys and engineer work
  • Working closely with our internal planning and project management team
  • Rising permit requests for works being carried out in the field
  • Drives deliveries of assigned fibres and assures each key stage is progressed in a timely manner
  • Acquires all required documentation for fibres in delivery and updates the internal systems
  • Acts pro-actively against any issues that arise in the build stage, to avoid unnecessary delays
  • Produces reports as needed for the Fibre Team Leader and other senior members of staff

Candidate profile

  • Previous project support dealing with multiple projects at any one time
  • Basic knowledge of fibre optic technology and passive networks overall is desirable but not a must
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proven experience working to deadlines and under pressure
  • Proven multitasking and prioritisation skills
  • Proven experience working unsupervised
  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills needed (V-look up, filters, pivot tables)
  • Interest in ISP and Internet technology

The role will be based in Belgrade. The successful candidate will be offered a monthly salary and participation in a company incentive scheme.
