On behalf of our client, German Investment Company, we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional to fill in the following position:

Technical Project Manager

Main responsibilities will include:

• Supervision of a Project Management Team for Small Run-of-River Hydro Power Plants in Serbia;
• Coordination function between the German based client, Owner’s Engineer, local project management team, local designer, and contractors;
• Optimization of SHPP design, using general designer and Owner’s Engineer;
• Identifying and solving ongoing issues occurring in the development phase;
• Protecting clients’ position, rights, and internal project goals, by preparing and controlling of systems for accounting control; budgeting, negotiating etc.;
• Ongoing budgeting, cost estimation and time scheduling by using state-of-the-art Software Tools;
• Active involvement into the tender process for the construction preparation phase as well as the construction execution phase;
• Preparing and managing the construction process, taking into account time, quality and costs (incl. protection against claims);
• Organisation and responsibility for operational management of the plants;
• Developing a good relationship with all involved parties in the project.

Requirements:

• University degree in Civil Engineering (preferably in hydraulic engineering area);
• Proven working experience in the field of hydraulic engineering, experience in the energy industry is a plus;
• Good knowledge of FIDIC contracts is a plus;
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
• PC literacy;
• Fluency in English;
• Willingness to travel.
