A Day in the Life
The main purpose of this role is to sell and promote the innovative range of Medtronic Diabetes products.
The jobholder is primarily responsible for selling the full range of products in assigned accounts in a professional manner to hospitals and related healthcare professionals, as well as for the management of quality and consistency of product and service delivery. You will cooperate and coordinate activities with the Diabetes team in the territory, in order to maximize the opportunities and build strong business relationships with customers, to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market share, leading through economic selling, developing and presenting commercial offers.
For this role you need to be located in Belgrade, Serbia.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitates country specific implementation of key field development strategies & tactics
- Builds and maintains professional relationship with Medtronic customers and distributors.
- Communicates proactively to the manager on market trends and activities in assigned territory
- Assures alignment with other local functional areas such as research, clinical, development, education, reimbursement and sales.
- Implementation of marketing program activities; organization and execution of local seminars and workshops for HCPs (as per plan)
- Represent Medtronic in a professional manner ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards
Must haves:
- University Degree (preferably in Health and Medical Science or Health industry)
- Min 2 years of sales experience, preferably in medical devices business (pharma candidates will be also considered)
- Experience with developing therapy access
- Ability to work, build and maintain positive relationship with peers, colleagues and customers across diverse cultures
- Proven ability to effectively communicate (written or verbal) at all levels
- Ability to work independently
- Strong “win and can do” attitude
- Computer literacy
- Willingness to travel
- Full clean driving license
- Demonstrated integrity and respect
- Fluent Serbian and English, both written and spoken
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in Diabetes is desirable
