Track and Trace Operator

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and professional Track and Trace Operator (In-Transit Security Specialist) to join our team. This senior-level, customer-facing position is critical for ensuring the integrity, security, and on-time delivery of high-value pharmaceutical shipments. You will play a key role in monitoring shipments in real time, proactively identifying issues, and escalating deviations based on SOPs to internal stakeholders and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipment Monitoring & Communication:

• Monitor high-value pharmaceutical shipments in real time using GPS and automated tracking platforms.
• Maintain near-constant communication with drivers, security platforms, and internal systems to ensure smooth transit.
• Provide scheduled tracking updates, including two additional updates per shift beyond arrival notifications.
• Perform a defined series of verification and documentation steps for every shipment at pre-set intervals.

Issue Identification & Escalation:

• Proactively identify delays, route deviations, or anomalies using data analysis and tracking tools.
• Escalate concerns according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and client-specific escalation points.
• Anticipate potential risks and communicate with clients and internal stakeholders promptly and professionally.

Client & Stakeholder Interaction:

• Serve as a senior-level point of contact for clients, providing high-touch service and transparent updates.
• Deliver timely and professional communication to both external and internal stakeholders.

Security & Compliance:

• Ensure strict adherence to security procedures and industry regulations for in-transit pharmaceutical shipments.
• Support the enforcement of all operational protocols related to high-value and sensitive cargo.

• Working schedule:
• Tuesday to Saturday 2nd shift: 15:00-00:00 CDT/ 22:00 - 07:00 Belgrade time
• Monday - Friday 3rd shift: 23:00-08:00 CDT / 06:00 - 15:00 Belgrade time

Job requirements

• Proven experience in a senior-level track & trace, logistics, or security monitoring role, preferably within pharmaceuticals or high-value commodities.
• Strong understanding of:
• SOP-driven escalation processes
• High-value shipment security
• Supply chain communication protocols
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret live data.

• Comfortable working with tracking software, GPS systems, and communication tools.
• Experience with TMS, GPS tracking, or transportation security platforms
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical logistics and cold chain compliance
• Strong written and verbal reporting abilities
• Crisis management or risk mitigation training a plus
