Vendor Account Manager (Europe)
The Vendor Account Manager has the total ownership, responsibility and accountability on vendor contracts for a defined portfolio of vendors. The Vendor Account Manager is responsible to ensure that vendors meet contracted terms and operate in line with legal requirements and other agreed rules. He/she also acts as the key point of contact for all escalations related to noncompliance on the vendor contracts.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage the vendor contract from signature to ramp-down to ensure achievement of contractual or agreed quality, operational and financial targets
- Orchestrate the communication between SR Technics and vendors, seeking continuous improvement and build strong co-operation partnership (with all strategic parties)
- Act as escalation point between vendor and SR Technics
- Meet with vendors in person and attend weekly or monthly operational calls
- Monitor & report on budget, spend levels and vendor performance
- Identifies risks and issues, suggests alternatives that lead to the best solution
- Secure proper documentation and data management
- Mitigation of potential operational and financial risks
- Support projects as requested by superiors
Your profile:
To fulfill this position successfully, your qualifications must include:
- Qualification in business studies, commerce, mechanical or aerospace engineering or relevant field
- Previous work expertise in the MRO purchasing, operations or supply chain required, in the aviation sector preferred
- Working experience within a multinational company and cross functional team desired
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Professional proficiency in English
