We are looking to bring on an enthusiastic team member onto our Marketing and Business Development team, as inhouse Video Editor.

Today, Quectel’s education innovation content production includes the launch of tutorial video series (called QueXs) and other learning projects available through various medias. They are offering opportunities to startups and SME to build their IoT projects.

VE major responsibility is to maintain continues video production process in part of flawless video editing including sound design and motion graphics with building and managing media content library as an integral part of the work for further video production efficiency improvement. VE will produce draft and deliver final cuts for various media platforms including social networks in close collaboration with marketing manager as a video director and the marketing team members responsible for procurement at media content stocks, graphic designers, copywriters. VE should have an experience in collaborative workflow in case of attracting outsource professionals for solving individual tasks. VE is supposed to passionate art person organized and capable of delivering projects in time, energetic and dedicated to self‐perfection and learning new tools and techniques for creating outstanding video content.

Key Accountabilities:

• Working closely with marketing manager as director to deliver a final product that matches his vision, editing raw footages following a script and ensure logical sequencing and smooth running, inputting sound, including selecting music and writing voice‐overs, inputting graphics, including motion graphics, improving and correcting lighting, coloring, and faulty footage.
• Providing motivated feedback on raw footage quality and suggesting improvements on video production preprocess.
• Building and maintaining inhouse media content library for reusing and video production process enhancement.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize production efficiency

Required Education, Experience and Competencies:

• BA degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field.
• Work experience as a Video Editor proven with a strong portfolio.
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
• (e.g. Adobe Premiere – Aftereffects ‐ Audition or Davinci Resolve – Fusion ‐ Fairlight).
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• Basic English language skills
