Work Methods Engineer
(located in Smederevo)

Job description:

• Measures standards and time cycles for cost calculations and continuous improvement of process
• Organizes distribution of production operations in a way that ensures balanced and equal workload
• Standardizes and optimizes work methods and work positions in production process
• Continuously analyses work positions in terms of ergonomics; suggests optimal solutions in order to improve work conditions and increase productivity
• Creates work instructions, technological procedures and bills of material (BOM) for new products according to drawings and technical specifications from clients or Engineering Manager
• Cooperates with Process Supervisor and Product Designers in order to improve design and decrease costs of production and preproduction
• Assists to Transfer Project Manager regarding product transfers and implementations
• Continuously develops productivity and effectivity in field of engineering, according to client and quality demands

Required conditions: 

• University level education in Mechanical Engineering field
• Work experience in automotive industry (measuring and analyzing time and losses in the production process)
• Familiar with LEAN (5S, Ishikawa method, 4M, 5 Why...)
• Familiar with Takt Time
• Intermediate knowledge of English
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Knowledge of REFA methodology will be considered as a plus
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be considered as a plus
