Chief Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for accounting in accordance with Serbian legislation
- Keeps up to date with changes in local accounting and informs superiors on the changes
- Prepares regular reports and ensures that the reporting dead-lines are met
- Relationship with relevant state authorities on any tax issues
- Recruit employees and organize accounting department according to company expansion.
Requirements:
- University education (Economics)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a position of Accountant, preferably in an advisory company for accountancy or international company
- Certificate as a member of an Accountancy Association could be a plus
- Knowledge of Serbian accounting and tax requirements
- Knowledge about the capital market legislation could be a plus
- Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work within given deadlines, under pressure and independently
- Fluency in English and PC literacy
