HSE Specialist

Haitian Machinery Serbia is looking for a highly motivated and responsible HSE Specialist to join our team!

The ideal candidate will independently manage occupational health & safety and environmental protection processes, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage all occupational health and safety processes.
• Perform all duties specified in Article 50 of the Occupational Health and Safety Law.
• Identify workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments.
• Organize and deliver safety training programs for employees.
• Monitor, analyze and report workplace incidents and accidents and propose preventive measures.
• Cooperate with relevant authorities and inspections regarding HSE matters.
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation and reports.
• Participate in the selection and procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) and work equipment.
• Maintain records of employee medical examinations.
• Independently manage environmental protection activities, including documentation, regulatory compliance and communication with authorities.
• Monitor and implement environmental protection regulations.
• Maintain waste management records and prepare related documentation.
• Organize environmental awareness and training programs for employees.
• Propose initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve sustainability practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (level 6.2/7.1).
• Licensed Occupational Health and Safety Advisor (mandatory).
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Serbian HSE legislation and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent command of English (minimum B2 level).
