Junior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Handle bookkeeping and invoicing requirements of group companies and client companies (not Serbian) in cooperation with the local bookkeeper & audit
• Reconciliation of bank accounts, petty cash, debtors, and creditors
• Filing of documents in an orderly manner
• Monitor cash-flow, loans
• Handle accounting for Real Estate Projects in Cyprus and Serbia
• Handle earnings season reports of listed companies, write short reports
• Create and maintain modelling-sheet and presentations

Required Qualifications / Knowledge

• Preferably holding a bachelor's degree from Faculty of Economics, module Accounting, Audit and Financial Management or other education with primary focus on Accounting
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting, with experience in international companies
• VAT experience and familiarity with intercompany loans
• Ideally, candidates should have basic knowledge about financial markets and valuations of financial assets
• Excellent communication skills in English (Written & Spoken)
• Good attention to details and organizational skills
• Previous experience in working with accounting software
• Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team
• Ability and willingness to occasionally travel to Cyprus
