Tetra Pak is successfully serving the local market for more than 40 years through the local company in Belgrade and the factory in Gornji Milanovac.

The following position is open in our factory in Gornji Milanovac:

Maintenance Engineer - Mechanic

You will:

  • Under routine supervision of the Maintenance Manager, develop and implement maintenance plans and mechanical equipment modifications designed to keep production equipment in optimal operating condition with minimal down-time, and adhere to established safety and quality standards
  • Inspect production equipment and plant facilities for deterioration or impending failure, analyze machine failures and down-time, determine root cause effects, and prescribe repair and/or improvement modifications as necessary
  • Provide troubleshooting, failure analyses, vibration analyses of mechanical equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, etc.
  • Coordinate and requisite necessary repair equipment and machines, repair parts, modifications or installation needs
  • Analyse and deploy equipment maintenance and operational data to ensure identification of trends or repeat failures requiring specific intervention
  • Propose, develop and implement optimised maintenance strategies and associated maintenance routines for critical machinery, using RCM techniques where appropriate
  • Direct, instruct and supervise maintenance technicians and fitters
  • Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment


You have:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Engineering experience in manufacturing environment would be considered as advantage
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering equipment repair, maintenance, and modification techniques and procedures within a manufacturing environment, hydraulic and pneumatics
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing maintenance programs and repair procedures including spare parts control, preventative maintenance, repair and maintenance scheduling, etc.
  • Hands-on engineering experience with process equipment
  • Ability to perform detailed analysis of operational and maintenance data to identify areas requiring intervention
  • Ability to effectively prioritise issues and own workload such that appropriate resource is delivered to critical work areas
  • Fluent in English and in Serbian
  • PC literate
