Maintenance Operator – US Trucking Industry

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operator to join our growing team and support fleet operations within the US trucking industry.

This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have prior experience of up to 6 months in trucking operations and be comfortable handling maintenance-related issues, coordinating repairs, and supporting drivers in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage vehicle repairs, preventive maintenance, and roadside assistance events.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding maintenance-related issues.
• Communicate with repair shops, dealerships, vendors, and roadside service providers.
• Monitor repair progress and ensure timely resolution of maintenance events.
• Review repair estimates and maintenance expenses.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Work closely with Dispatch, Safety, and Operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Prioritize multiple maintenance events while ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing disruptions to fleet operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Maintenance Operator or in a similar role within the US trucking industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial truck maintenance and repair processes.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle time-sensitive situations.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications and transportation software.
