QA/Test Engineer

GrECo Shared Services Center d.o.o. from Belgrade is a business entity operating within GrECo International Holding AG from Austria. Due to expansion we are looking for candidates for position of QA/Test Engineer.

Job description:

We are working in small agile teams (up to 8 members, 2 testers), using SCRUM methodology and 2-week sprints to migrate existing system to the cloud (Microsoft Azure) and on writing client apps by using cloud technologies. 

Key responsibilities: 

-          Daily testing of user stories and tasks, on different environments;

-          Investigating and reporting bugs;

-          Writing test cases for finished user stories and resolved bugs;

-          Back-end testing of microservices and BFF directly on Azure portal or by using Postman (optional, probably not to be done in the first few months of employment);

-          Writing automated UI tests in Ghost Inspector (https://ghostinspector.com/) from scratch, using JavaScript for advanced testing and complex assertions (optional, probably not to be done in the first few months of employment);

We are using Azure DevOps Services to plan our work. Most functionalities of the tool are similar to what can be found in Atlassian JIRA and other issue tracking and bug reporting tools.

Required skills:

-          1 to 3 years of experience in testing web applications;

-          Good verbal and written communication in English;

-          Experience using Windows OS and multiple browsers;

-          At least basic knowledge/understanding of HTML and CSS;

-          Familiarity with SQL (ability to write simple queries);

Nice to have:

-          Previous experience of working in an agile environment;

-          Previous experience in UI automation, or the desire to learn it;

-          Previous experience in API testing, familiarity with Postman and JMeter;

-          Basic knowledge and understanding of JavaScript;

-          Experience in testing mobile applications
