Senior Electrical Engineer

DPM Metals Inc. is a Canadian-based, international mining company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, mining, and processing of precious metals properties. DPM operates across Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Ecuador with headquarters in Toronto, Canada.

For the needs of our “Čoka Rakita” Project department in the in the territory of the municipality of Žagubica, we are currently looking to recruit a candidate for the Senior Electrical Engineer position.

Role Purpose:

To provide electrical engineering support, project coordination, and technical problem resolution to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of projects in compliance with applicable standards, Company procedures, Environment, Health and Safety requirements, and Serbian Mining Law.

Description of responsibilities:

• Coordinates and manages electrical, instrumentation, and control engineering activities, including contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders, to support efficient project delivery;
• Oversees engineering design checks, technical documentation, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, and project resources, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, statutory requirements, and Company procedures;
• Supports project execution through contractor and supplier coordination, tendering, procurement, technical evaluations, and resolution of project, contractual, and technical issues;
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost or schedule optimization, and recommends corrective actions where required;
• Supports plant, equipment, and instrumentation readiness by ensuring compliant deliveries, operable conditions, and effective coordination with field and operational teams;
• Maintains high standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and team performance through supervision, training, incident investigation, and reinforcement of safe work practices;

Requirements:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline;
• Relevant experience in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, preferably in industrial or mining projects;
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, control systems, and related technical documentation;
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams;
• Good understanding of applicable standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance;
