Role overview

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer you will join our agile squad to design, build and maintain core features of QGen Online. You’ll work end-to-end, authoring Golang microservices, crafting responsive Vue.js interfaces, optimizing data models in MongoDB / DocumentDB (Aws), and contributing to our CI/CD and monitoring pipelines. You’ll collaborate daily with product, compliance and operations to deliver secure, scalable and user-friendly compliance workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Golang microservices for identity verification, AML screening and case management
• Build and enhance our Vue.js single-page application, ensuring responsive UX and accessibility
• Design, implement and optimize data schemas and queries in DocumentDB (AWS)
• Integrate 3rd-party APIs (Regula, IDRND, ComplyAdvantage) and internal services via RESTful endpoints
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines: Git workflows, Docker builds, AWS deployments, automated testing (unit, integration, e2e)
• Monitor application health (Sentry, CloudWatch), troubleshoot production issues within SLAs and coordinate with DevOps
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, code reviews and cross-team standups
• Produce clear technical documentation, system diagrams and run-books

Essential skills & experience

• 3+ years professional software development in a full-stack role (ideally fintech/RegTech)
• Strong Golang experience (or comparable statically typed language)
• Proven front-end skills in Vue.js (or React/Angular) with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
• Hands-on database work with MongoDB
• Familiarity with message brokers (AmazonMQ, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) and Docker
• Proficient with Git, Jira, Slack and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-have

• Direct exposure to KYC/KYB/AML domains or compliance workflows
• Legacy migration experience (C#/.NET, SOAP)
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and Kubernetes
• End-to-end testing frameworks (Cypress, Go test)
• Understanding of GDPR, ISO security standards or AML/CFT regulations
