Senior Instrumentation Engineer

DPM Metals Inc. is a Canadian-based, international mining company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, mining, and processing of precious metals properties. DPM operates across Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Ecuador with headquarters in Toronto, Canada.

For the needs of our “Čoka Rakita” Project department in the in the territory of the municipality of Žagubica, we are currently looking to recruit a candidate for the Senior Instrumentation Engineer position.

Role Purpose:

To provide instrumentation and control engineering design support and technical problem resolution to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of projects in compliance with applicable standards, Company procedures, and Environment, Health and Safety requirements in multinational project environments. 

Description of responsibilities:

• Manages instrumentation and control engineering design development, including design criteria, technical documentation, specifications, data sheets, and engineering deliverables;
• Oversees project resources, budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and discipline costs to support timely and cost-effective project execution;
• Coordinates with project engineers, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and authorities to ensure compliance with technical requirements, statutory obligations, and Company standards;
• Supports project delivery through tender documentation, technical evaluations, procurement activities, contract administration, and resolution of design and execution issues;
• Contributes to construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities, including work packages, testing plans, operational readiness, and plant operability;
• Identifies opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvement, cost reduction, and schedule enhancement, and develops practical engineering solutions to support project objectives;

Requirements:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or other relevant engineering discipline;
• Relevant experience in Instrumentation & Controls engineering, preferably in industrial, mining, or project environments;
• Good knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, technical documentation, and engineering design standards;
• Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams;
• Good understanding of project execution, commissioning, and regulatory compliance requirement;
