For our office in Belgrade, Serbia we are looking for:
Senior System Administrator
Key Qualifications:
- Educated to at least first degree level in Computer-Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, Mechanical engineering, Technology, Management or similar
- Strong working knowledge of Redhat / Centos / Oracle Enterprise Linux.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 2003 upwards
- Strong experience with web server technology on Linux and Windows platforms
- Load balancing management including setup and configuration
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP
- Experience in a multi-site environment with a user base of 500+ and 600+ servers
- VMware/Virtualisation knowledge/hands on experience including VMware SRM
- Windows DNS and Bind Experience.
- A good understanding of Windows clustering including Exchange and SQL.
- A good working knowledge of Application Servers – File/Print/Mail/DNS/NTP/DHCP/Antivirus.
- Microsoft Active Directory Experience.
- BES Management
- Weblogic/OSB deployment and management tasks
- Oracle Virtual Manager (OVM)
Desirable:
- HP/Cisco Server Hardware (including Lights out Management).
- Tomcat, JBoss familiarity
- Storage Administration – EMC and HDS

Your Responsibilities:
- Facilitate decision-making, issue resolution and consensus with the London based team
- Promote quality on all activities, acting as a role model for all midlle/junior level team members
- Provide technical support on a 24x7 rotation basis for IT production systems.
- Assist with implementation and monitoring solutions to ensure 24x7 availability.
- Assist with projects on the IT systems from end-to-end. This includes implementing an agreed design to time & budget and providing good quality documentation for ongoing maintenance and support.
- Proactively implement practices and procedures to avoid problems before they occur.
- Undertake implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring and development of specialized system procedures.
- Provide basic systems security administration functions
- Implement and perform monitoring and system resource management, including CPU usage, disk usage, tape backup system.
- Implement / Perform systems backups and recovery procedures.
- Write or modify basic scripts to resolve performance problems.
- Maintain system documentation and logs.
- Perform/assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing production problems.
- Maintain application security, recommend and administer best practices
- Provide monitoring and primary response and intervention for information technology related security incidents and violations.
- Manage, recommend and implement enhancements to the Office Domain (AD Security / Policies, Upgrades).
- Manage, recommend and implement improvements to the email infrastructure (MX Servers, SPAM, AntiVirus, and Exchange), real-time blocking lists, and overload / mailshot protection and also cloud based exchange solutions.
- Assist with the Management of the DNS Infrastructure - for all offices, and for production (Internal & External Support).
- Assist with the management of monitoring infrastructure & alerting tools.
- Assist with the management of VMware infrastructure.
- Assist with the management of load balancers - Ensuring that Sites are correctly load-balanced and monitored.
- Assist with the management of Oracle Fusion Middleware, including Weblogic and Oracle Service Bus.
- Help manage the existing OVM estate.
- Assist with storage administration including the EMC VNX5300s and HDS AMS2100s.
- Protect GVC systems from third-party failure
