We are looking for:
PLANT MANAGER
Serbia
Duties and responsibilities:
- The manufacturing plant manager has to look after the entire workings of a manufacturing plant
- He/she is responsible for ensuring that the product being manufactured meets the company’s standards, policies and practices
He/she has to supervise the work of the whole working staff and to coordinate the following department:
- Production
- Quality
- Industrial Engineering
- Maintenance
- Logistic
- Safety and environmental
Job descrtiption:
- He/she has to confer with senior management to ensure that manufacturing objectives are being met
- He reports to the Operation Director of the Group
- He/she has to keep the budget under control and make sure that it does not go against the company’s standard practices
- He/she has to involve himself in the annual business planning and budgeting of the manufacturing plant
- He/she has to make short and long term plans in a bid to increase the efficiency and profitability of the plant
- He/she will be in charge of the start-up of the plant: utilities, facilities setting and production cycle
- In a short term you will manage both production and supply chain with a site of about 100 people
Skills and specifications:
- Leadership skills are an important pre – requisite
- He/she should also have very good organizational skills
- He/she should have good analyzing skills as well
- He/she should be a problem – solver and be able to grasp the problem at hand and take quick steps to resolve it
- Proficiency in financial matters
Education and qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering
- A person who has degree in management along with engineering will have an edge over the others
- Knowledge about the industry principles is an added advantage
- Experience in automotive sector or a track record in industrial production inside modern industrial environment is strongly recommended
- Fluent English language knowledge is a must
- Italian language knowledge is a “nice to have”
- You will need high soft skills related to local environment relationship and full capacity of integration and reporting to the Italian head quarter
