Accounting Specialist
Currently, we are looking for a highly professional Accountant, ideally with a background in the IT industry, - to be responsible for managing all business transactions.
Your Tasks
- Record and reconcile financial transactions to ensure all business transactions are accounted for and accurately reflected in financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments and maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account closings to ensure all financial activities are accurately recorded and reported on time.
- Be part of a team to prepare financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all legal accounting regulation, accuracy, and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing essential documentation and explanations to facilitate thorough reviews.
- Assist in tax or financial statement preparations.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a similar area;
- 3+ years of experience as an Accountant or Finance specialist;
- Excellent knowledge of accounting legislation and in-depth understanding of relevant IFRS accounting principles;
- Proven experience with preparing monthly VAT filings and year-end closing process;
- Additional qualification (certified accountant) considered an advantage;
- Proficient MS Office skills (particularly Excel/Google Sheets);
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Fluent English – both written and spoken is mandatory.
