Position details:
We are seaking for an Material Planner in our new business unit - O'Brein.
Job description:
- Ensures the continuous supply of production materials in accordance with the defined process
- Coordinates and cooperate with suppliers and freight forwarders
- Monitors changes in production plan and its impact to material delivery plan
- Conducts price analysis and benchmarking in alignment with defined procurement strategies
- Performs demand analysis and managing the preparation and execution of RFQs (Requests for Quotation)
- Takes proactive measures to ensure production continuity in the event of bottlenecks or delivery disruptions (e.g., quality issues, force majeure, etc.)
- Performs analysis of inventory data, including scrap rates and deviations in material consumption
- Reviews and manages documentation related to the above-mentioned tasks
- Strong drive for continuous process and productivity improvement
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop successful relationships with internal and external customers
- Strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork
- Proficient in MS Office applications and strong understanding of ERP systems and their operation
Education & Experience:
- Degree-qualified professional with experience in procurement and logistics.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience required.
- Prior experience with Microsoft NAV is considered an asset.
- Practical knowledge of leading-edge purchasing strategies and the material planning process.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Strong command of English.
- Minimum Years of Work Experience: Three (3) or more years of related experience.
